Terms of Service — EZ-Finish Drywall Taping Inc.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website or engaging our services. By accessing ez-finish.com or requesting a quote, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Services

EZ-Finish Drywall Taping Inc. provides residential and commercial drywall taping, finishing, patch and repair, and related services in Calgary, Alberta and surrounding areas. The specific scope, timeline, and cost of each project are outlined in a separate written quote provided to the client prior to work beginning.

2. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes provided by EZ-Finish are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on information provided at the time of inquiry. Additional costs may apply if the scope of work changes, or if unforeseen conditions are discovered once work begins. Any changes to scope will be communicated and agreed upon before additional work proceeds.

3. Scheduling and Access

Clients are responsible for ensuring EZ-Finish has reasonable access to the work area at the agreed-upon time. If access is not available at the scheduled time without prior notice, a cancellation or rescheduling fee may apply.

4. Payment

Payment terms will be outlined in your project quote. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• A deposit may be required before work begins on larger projects
• Final payment is due upon project completion
• Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at time of booking

Outstanding balances not paid within 14 days of project completion may be subject to a late fee.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the project scope at time of quote
• Ensure the work area is reasonably clear and accessible
• Notify EZ-Finish of any known hazards, pre-existing damage, or conditions that may affect the work
• Not interfere with work in progress in a way that affects quality or safety

6. Warranty

EZ-Finish stands behind the quality of our workmanship. If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of the finished work, notify us within 7 days of project completion and we will return to assess and address the issue at no additional charge, provided the concern is related to our workmanship and not subsequent damage, painting, or third-party work.

We do not warranty against:

• Cracks or imperfections caused by structural movement, settling, or moisture
• Damage caused by other trades working after our completion
• Issues resulting from client-directed changes to the original scope

7. Limitation of Liability

EZ-Finish’s total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Photos and Marketing

By engaging our services, you grant EZ-Finish permission to photograph completed work for use in our portfolio, website, and social media marketing. No personally identifying information will be shared without your consent. If you wish to opt out, notify us in writing before work begins.

9. Cancellations

Clients may cancel a scheduled project with at least 48 hours notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a fee to cover mobilization costs. Deposits on cancelled projects may be non-refundable depending on materials already ordered or work already performed.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Calgary, Alberta.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
